New BLI PRR M1s

I am curious if anyone has received a BLI M1 from the new run that just arrived.  Are there any upgrades or changes from the first run that was released about 10 years ago (other than the decoder)?

I did. The sound system is definitely different. I haven't put them side-by-side yet to see if there' any external differences. Then again, I just got an M1a and I previously only had M1bs.

Hi  I just received my Stealth M1b - Had a Paragon 2 M1b that I got rid of when these were announced (didn't know it was going to take years
for the new ones).  They look about the same as I remember but it's been awhile.  Stealth one seems to run very stiff but I think it will break in alright.  Stealth is also touchy to throttle - does not take much voltage to get it moving very quick (too quick).

Is the traction tire driver on this run just driven by the siderods, or is it geared?  I know with mine from the first run, that can create some problems with pulling if the traction tire driver has any eccentricity in turning with the siderods.

I'm thinking about one more since it's been up dated. Have six early ones already. Don't I have enough ? Yes but not as many as I want.    Hey they look good lined up in the roundhouse and out doubleheading.      Lets get on with a J1, i1, Q2, L1, H10 and throw in a NYC Niagara just to keep the PRR honest.

You might get an H10 in 2-3 years if the BLI 2-8-0 does well.  Sooner if you buy one and someone makes a 3-D H10 shell for it.
