Using the Trading post

I have decided to thin down my collection a bit

Given the fact that I can't post anything in the trading post forum, I assume I need a minimum post count to do so, yes?

After I post pictures and find a buyer, is it generally understood that the items will be shipped out after I receive payment?
I know the board has nothing to do with the exchange but I want to know what is considered polite manners.

1. If you post a list of the items in a message, include prices and any shipping. Make sure that you remove items as they sell .. Please negotiate in PM or email
2. If you add images, put them in the gallery.  It uses different storage space than the attachments folders .. remove them when the item is sold .. or even better, use your own hosting service for images. 
3. Don't use the forum to advertise items on Feebay
4. Participate in forum threads and add to the conversation.

This is a rather common question from new members. I wish the admins would include this type of information in the email stating that you have been approved as a Railwire member. Even a link to the above thread (and to another thread providing hints on how to post photos to the gallery) would eliminate all the confusion.

Easy enough to do .. Post in the Weekend Update, start a layout thread - etc .. tell us about your modeling -- etc ..
