Era? Reporting marks seem modern (>2000) to me.

Eras are listed under right side of car.  All are 2004 or newer

Might need to look into the vibrant color cars, give something other than standard black ones

Picggybacking here, but have both runs of the acid tank cars been released yet, or was it only the first batch?

^Yep, both runs are in.  (Really excellent models.)  RE the new LPGs: I've seen a few blue cars in the wild, but never a red or yellow one...  I don't doubt they exist, but they're pretty rare.

I really wish the HO ACF 2970 2-bay covered hopper had a mirror release in N this month as well - it's the pick of the litter of the 3 versions we have in N.

Prototypical differences aside, I'd happily have all of the SP numbers they offered.

The blue UTLX cars are from prototype, but I haven't found any examples of the red or yellow NATX or TILX cars.

The only red or yellow tank cars I've seen in the wild are the USAX shorty tanks, similar to corn syrup cars.

Neither number series exists in the October 2025 ORER for what its worth.

I do not have any 2000s or 2010s registers yet to check if they are there tho.

Be interesting to see what the MFCL guys come up with.

Only yellow cars I can recall seeing are the Safety Kleen cars carrying PROX marks. Red, never.

Searching Railcar Photos and Canadian Freight Railcar Gallery seems to back up Ryan's assertion that these number series don't exist.

I call foobs, which is fine, these are too new for me regardless.

Anyone know how to backdate these to the 1970s? I can only take so many whale belly Atlas cars when there were straight LPG cars out there in the 70s too.

Being jacketed cars backdating them to the 1970s might be tough. The early version could pass for the very late 1970s but they are mostly a 1980s+ car. The later version is well into the 90s/2000s
