KATO Amfleet 1 & 2 in Phase 3

Well it appears that KATO is finally rerunning Phase 3 amfleets and also including the long awaited Amfleet 1 in phase 3...
I've also heard rumors that they'd be starting some of the new phase amfleets too with this run.

You guys can thank me for this!  Few years ago I stripped the paint from several of their Amfleet I cars, and even printed Ph III stripe decals on my printer for them.  I just haven't got back to that project (still sitting on a shelf). So of course Kato is now making Amfleet I cars with Ph III stripes.

Very nice!  Looks like to me like the layout is set somewhere on the Southern East Coast.

Really wish they'd do some "Rainbow Era" E8 paint outs from '71/'72. Would allow for a lot of east coast paint schemes to come into play, ACL, B&O, L&N, SBD, SOU etc. But its not in Kato's M.O. for mismatched/unclean stuff.
