I did four trips to shoot these guys in 2019... really glad I did, nothing left of interest for me there now. Haven't posted anything in some time, hopefully these aren't repeats:

Went out to Kansas a couple weeks ago to catch the last MK5000 in operation.  It was on borrowed time and I'm not sure if its even running anymore. The Kyle's 250th is the third engine.  What doesn't show in the picture is the single digit temperature and 35mph wind gusts.

Caught the Castlegar to Nelson freight, just off HWY 3A at Thrums Frontage Road crossing in July 2025. If you have a chance to chase this train ever in your life, do it. Worth every minute. Was in The area for work and found myself with a day off.  CP SD30C 5018, SD40-2 6068, SD40-2 6069, and GP20C 2294. 6069 still in pacman!

CBH standard gauge grain train passing through Midland Station construction works Sunday evening (about an hour ago) - westbound loaded heading to port in Kwinana, with the dual gauge freight mains in front, and the under-construction dual gauge passenger tracks behind.

5/20/2006 Harpers Ferry, WV on the Winchester Branch of the B&O, and my favorite CSX paint scheme.  It worked really well on 2nd gen standard cabs.



20 years later and I live about an hour from here... in the other direction!
