Life-Life Erie Built--How to get trucks off?

I'm trying to swap a L-L Erie Built shell onto a new chassis that's had a decoder installed (I don't have the skills to do a hard wired install myself, but got luck on eBay). I also need to swap the trucks or the truck frames, as they're not the same color between the two chassis. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the trucks out or the frames off short of entirely disassembling the loco. Does anyone have any tips?

per Spookshow's website, loosen screws on each end and drop trucks out, just like the original Atlas or Kato counterparts. might need to pop fuel tank by getting in behind those square tabs with a razor blade or such.

Thank you, all I needed was to be a little more aggressive on loosening the chassis!
