A photo from my grandparents travel collection in an unknown location in Western Canada in the 1950s.  There were pictures from Banff in the same batch.  It appears to be a double-headed CP train.  The bridge in the background may be a clue.

I thought AEP was *American* Electric Power?  Not that there can't be both.

Taken from what we call "Flannigans Crossing" the Western most view point of Thornton Yard in Surrey BC, SD75I 5792 and SD60 5411 bring an evening transfer in, likely from the SRY (Southern Railway of BC) in New Westminster. Aug 2024
