2-packs are $30.
I was really surprised that these are sold at such a discount.  I bought few when they first came out and paid much more than that. Those are well detailed models of rather unique looking cars.

They must have a large surplus that they want to clear out.  I agree they are nice models, although they need some enhancements such as body-mounted couplers and 100-ton trucks.

It would be nice to pick up a couple more given the price, but both of mine track so poorly I'm reluctant to add more to the workbench queue. :|

Swap in BLMA 100-ton trucks to improve tracking.

I bought one when they came out - I was shocked that the couplers were truck mounted. One more project.  :D

I remember seeing these at NSE 2018, and mentioned to Ken about the truck mounted couplers, his reply was basically that is what N scalers use...I just shook my head on that answer.

For better or worse BLI tends to prioritize that all their N scale models track on 9" curves. Which on one hand looks bad if your model RR has the wide curves. But in a few clubs, working at a few stores, talking to people in the hobby. It actually seems you'll be hard pressed to find your average joe N scaler with curves on their layout wider than 11", hell my home layout is 10", so I get it.
