Maybe I'll buy a pair of Santa Fe ET44s to pull them with?  :o

^That NSC car would truly be an embarrassment of riches.  So with IM doing the Trinity 2- and 3-bay hoppers and now ST doing the Greenbrier 2- and 3-bays, maybe we could convince Aurora to do the (Canadian) NSC 2- and 3-bay hoppers.   :lol:

As it happens, one of these NSC 2-bay hoppers was recently spotted at the Simplot Growers spur in Edison - one of the spurs on my layout - so now I want some too.   :lol:



Also, I completely forgot that North American Rail Car (NARC) already makes a 3-bay NSC hopper.  I just picked up some from them and it turns out to be an excellent model.  Alas they're only available direct from NARC, which is a bit of a hassle...  I suggested they consider making a 2-bay version as well.
