Just finished listening to Lee’s, Ed’s, and Tom Placier’s episodes during a work session last night. Very enjoyable listening. The choice of topics and discussion makes for a lively show that’s doesn’t have the wooden quality of some of the modeling podcasts I’ve heard, which mainly fawn on new product releases.

I’ve watched just about every model railroading podcast before starting this, and decided against following the Ken Patterson format — too much on-screen talking, not enough modeling. I recently watched The Second Section Podcast with Mike Confalone, and they talked football for nearly half an hour before a 2:45-long episode that never actually got into his incredible layout and scenery.

To make sure that doesn’t happen here, we stick to a set format. Each podcast is fully laid out beforehand, and our guests follow a prepared set of questions. That keeps things modeling-focused and on track.

I’m trying — and God willing, and the creeks don’t rise — we can make an impact. The Railwire chieftains have really helped make this new version of the podcast a real smash.

I've not spent much podcast time.  Never made it past 10 min. of a Patterson session.  Ditto for the ones that make me feel sea sick from the bouncing camera.  But I just listened/watched two back-to-back TTM sessions, start to finish.  Well done Chuck.  I'm actually looking forward to catching up and seeing the next production.
