Drawbar cars (other than Airsllides, Flats and Wells)

Did any other car types get the permanent couple drawbar setup?
Besides Airslides, Flats and Wells?

It's an interesting twist to throw into switching puzzles..

I believe there were articulate 40’ reefers at some point.  Maybe Rath?  I think a mid-60’s ORER will list them.

Hopper cars.   
I believe some ore hoppers were drawbarred in 4-car sets.
There's also Southern's crazy articulated hopper car.

BN's first order of Bethgon coalporters were drawbarred into 5-unit sets for a short time.   Want to say two years or less.

Granted, unlikely that a Bethgon would end up in a switching puzzle.

This is the first I've heard of the bethgons, but knowing BN, wouldn't surprise me

It was a 1990s thing.  Like other attempts at lightweight-ness, like the Santa Fe Fuel Foiler, it was tried once.  One issue seems to be, when one component of the long articulated car is bad ordered, the whole car is bad ordered.

Here's a photo of a BN drawbar equipped coalporter. Note the A on the rotary end. They were 5 unit sets and later broken up for maintenance concerns.

Edit: from what I can gather there was three 120 car train sets of these (2 aluminum, 1 black), and definitly didnt last too long.
