Click -> Colorado Railcams is Live! <- Click

It's been a long time coming, but we finally went live today with our camera. There's still a lot to figure out, but the default position should show the signals which can give a heads up for a train.  We are currently working on the audio.  We will probably get a mic and try and hook up with the a broadcast of the Joint Line radio.

Any watch hours you can give, would be much appreciated.

Thx,

Jason

Cool. What camera are you using?

My 720p Axis died quite a while back, and really haven't felt like getting up on a ladder and messing with it. That said, learned just yesterday that the field I was shooting across is about to be filled with solar panels, so before I do anything we have to determine if we'll still have a good view of the tracks. :|

AXIS M5526-E

Tried to have budget for this install since I didn't know if it was even going to work out.  So far the camera is real nice and is working great in low light. I do wish it had a built in microphone, but it's not too hard to add.  It's just a bit pricy if I use the AXIS one.

Now with sound!

I wasn't sure how this whole process was going to go so I didn't purchase the microphone with the camera.  But today we got a mic installed.  If you like highway noise and crickets, come watch.  There's an occasional train too.

We need to get to 500 subscribers as part of the monetization effort, so please subscribe if it's something you think you'll watch.
