Wow that was quick. Happy I jumped on getting mine. If you don’t want to/can’t disclose the info I understand but I’m curious how many of these cabooses you produced. Also any chance there will ever be a rerun of the Keyser Valley caboose?
A run of Made In America Series kits is usually between 50 and 75 pieces including assembled pilot models. KV was well over 100 pieces counting the dozen assembled enhanced cabooses in the Sovereign Modeler Series and pilot models. The KV caboose body would have to be redesigned for 3D printing because the originals were resin cast. The demand doesn’t warrant a rework I believe. The KV parts we do have remaining probably will be cobbled together for additional SMS releases at some point. The SMS releases serve multiple purposes — excellent exposure and much more lucrative profit-wise. They help subsidize other stuff.
