The screw jack is interesting, same tech used on the fifth wheels on early TOFC cars.

I know someone who could probably build one in HO for sure, possibly N scale.  All I gotta say is nah, that can't be done......

Way too modern for me, but I did find the minimum radii interesting.  Actually doable in N scale.
