Trainworx LTL from 2021 shipping now

Saw one of retailers post on Facebook that the 2021 Trainworx LTL announcements are shipping now and on shelves soon.  I haven't seen official msrp but given what I pre-ordered at and what price they are charging, it's roughly 25% higher.  This includes Estes, Saia, Yellow, ABF, Roadway, YRC, Conway, XPO.   I only ordered tractors bc I printed DigCom trailers,  but this is still going to hurt

Oof. When it rains it pours. I'm waiting for the IM Trinity 3281 hoppers to land, JTC says they have some well cars a few weeks away, and now the trucks I ordered back when I was a younger man are on the way? It's a golden age for the modern railroader, although the wallet may not survive the hit.

I pre-ordered a few of these, but ordered a ton more of the trucks and trailers that were announced later in 2020. can't wait to see how these go.

Looks like 47.95 for tractors and 29.95 for the trailers.  N scale supply already sold out on a few trailer sku's

For the completists amongst us, one of each road number is $3,947.23 MSRP, or just $1,659.80 for one of each paint scheme.

I received a notice from FedEx Ground to expect a package from western Colorado, with its final destination a small town in southwest Idaho.  I wonder if the rig that will carry the package might look anything like this one?

Good chance this is the last I'll order them.  $40-50 for freight cars is one thing ( they move around the layout) but static vehicles ?  I have a 3d printer with a reliable source for accurate stl files that scale into N very nicely.

Just wait until the eBay collective gets their hands on this run. I’m wondering if they’ll use MSRP or simply go straight to the $100+ prices one sees for run of the mill trainworx trailers.

Trainworx (and FedEx) delivered!

Seeing combinations of Roadway and Yellow equipment was a common sight for several years after the merger.

The tractors are now showing on Trainworx web site:  https://www.train-worx.com/?product_cat=n-scale-tractors

Edit:  Here are the links to the trailers:  https://www.train-worx.com/?product_cat=n-28-pup-trailer and https://www.train-worx.com/?product_cat=n-53-trailer

Yeah.   The competition to snap these up is going to be pretty fierce though.  I wonder how many actually sell at those prices.

They won't be doing that for much longer as the threshold for a 1099-K form is $2500 for the 2025 tax year and $600 for 2026 and beyond.

They'll just raise the prices more to pay the tax on it.

FeeBay isn't following this. I received a 1099-K from Ebay for 2024 and what I sold (got rid of) was well below $2500 (the 2024 "threshold" was $5000).

Very annoying.

Part of the American Rescue Plan that Congress passed in 2021, while the bill's passage lowered the 1099-K reporting threshold requirement from $20,000 and 200 transactions to $600, sighting a lack of knowledge on the part of the general populous, the the IRS took the legally dubious action of changing the reporting threshold to $5000 for the 2024 reporting year, $2500 for the 2025 reporting year, and $600 thereafter without any Congressional approval.

While businesses (like mine) report their inventory purchases, starting inventories, and ending inventories on a yearly basis on a Schedule C form, there currently is no manner for casual sellers to do so.

If the amount on a 1099-K goes unreported or differs from the actual figures that were reported, one will receive correspondence from the IRS and will be subject to penalty fees for any undeclared income.

As was the case with cryptocurrency and fungible token sales (which must now be reported to the IRS), there are an awful lot of casual venue sellers who regularly sell stuff for profit and falsely believe they have no income tax liability on their gains.
