He has. The link I posted was someone else who ordered... something from Micro Engineering.

And when I was talking to him. I said the reason I asked if he was closed is because I found that when I searched online. He said he needed to talk to Google to get that taken care of.

So I'm sure I'm not the first to request a refund from him. Paypal probably has a list of refunds for him.

Google-schmmogle - I personally verified that the brick&mortar store is gone.

He called today. I didn't answer. He left a voice mail. Kept asking me to call him and gave his phone number about 3-4 times. Told me NO I didn't send out your package. Said he had to e-mail me through Paypal because his e-mail would just get lost in my spam folder (his first (or any) e-mail did not get lost). Told me again the rail is being made in England. Again mentioned "things happening in Washington".

All I can think of about the way he keeps wanting me to call him is that is must like little boys

Just to keep your favorite day time drama going

Hey Dave,

There is no need to call you. Your e-mail did not go to my spam folder. You do not have a hobby shop. On April 13th I was sent actual photos of the building listed as your shop. There is no shop there. But you do have a website that listed code 40 rail as orderable. I know why there is no code 40 rail, but your site listed it while all other “shops” showed it as out of stock without a way to order. You should have sent me an e-mail telling me “sorry we do not have your rail here is your refund”, but you didn’t.

Sending me a shipping notice through Paypal is a complete scam to try and cover you from me getting a refund. If you do not give me a refund before May 1st I will have Paypal refund my money for you.

I do not recommend keeping items listed on your site that you do not have to sell.
Thanks
Chris

These are the 2 e-mails I got from him via Paypal.

There is no box.

The link to the MRH site mentioned something about a poor Google review, but I couldn't find anything myself.

According to Google Reviews, it seems like you are not the only one who has issues getting a response from him.

Do these reviews exist?  I'd just love to read them.

He called yesterday. No message. Today he refunded my money.

Guess in June I can order rail from any number of sane shop owners.

I am still going to die on the hill that is easier to handlay code 40 than code 55. Just because it flexes more easily when making monolithic turnouts.

They used to, as well as all of the other common rail sizes.  What they have now I have no idea.

Dude was at the show with a ton of product.

Wouldn't hurt to call or email...I know the website's not updated yet.

I think the whole issue is that ME doesn't have any in stock and their supplier lead time puts them into the summer months before restock.

Chris is looking for some still out in the distribution network because it's not available from ME or anyone that has to order a restock.

The new owner of Micro Engineering visited N Scale Supply the weekend of the show and said code 40 rail was expected sometime this summer, with code 40 flex to follow soon after. It’s been out of stock for awhile.
