Meh. YMMV. Wallet safety is important too, I guess.

They are the weathered HO Accurail offerings, not N scale.

They are out of my time frame but I am pre-ordering the Kahn's 4 pa ck of reefers. I worked there back in the late 70's and early 80's.

Yes, I know.  I am trying to imagine them sitting on top of some Proto:87 wheels.  ;)

The weak point is the chunky Accurail details, esp the end cages and coupler boxes.  (Too bad MT didn't do this with some Athearn Genesis or Tangent models.)   It may be worthwhile to try replacing those with some better parts (and maybe the roofwalks).  I don't think it would be too hard to blend w/the factory weathering -- it would take a lot of work to hand-weather a car to look like that.

Any anthracite road boxcar w/o a roofwalk is good for me. Ordered the RDG. And also the MILW boxcar because it just looks cool. - Rob

That Reading car is pretty. But I really like that MILW car too.

I'm on Ed's team with the MILW car. I feel like I've seen plenty of early Conrail pics with MILW boxcars floating around...

If I remember right it's pretty close to the prototype.  I remember adding two more door bars on each side, to a model in a prior release.

You may be remembering a different car.
