CN and CPKC are now shut down and workers are locked out, pending strike resolution. 
No idea how long this might drag on.

In early July we took a trip to Paris and sat by the river in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. It was a lovely view, but I kept being distracted by the subway trains crossing the bridge.

Thanks.  That was an awesome trip.  Stepdaughter graduated from U Chicago, and we celebrated by renting a pontoon boat and cruising up and down the Chicago River.


The weather was perfect, and the antiquities along the way were amazing.
