Question on TCC IMF4 decoder

I am adding DCC to an MBTA FP11 kitbash. This uses the older IM F unit chassis with the motor plungers rather than the wire. I'm using an IMF4 decoder with the user guide here:

The manual states that this is a 3 function decoder and the wiring diagram seems to back that up: "white" - forward, "yellow" - reverse, "green"

But the manual also states there is a violet function wire controlled by CV52 and listed as F2. This isn't on the diagram. There are solder pads next to the green wire - and they are both populated with #102 resistors.

So does this decoder have this additional function? Has anyone tried to use it? I want to use these for marker lights.

Wait! Hold up!

You need a decoder with the plungers? I think I have one that I'll happily make yours for a song.

I actually got that decoder running. It does indeed have an F2 function and I was able to wire up the marker lights correctly.

As luck would have it, I have ANOTHER early IM F7 that needs a decoder, so I'll gladly take yours off your hands. What do you want for it?
