I got the C39 because it lives a few blocks from my parents.

But I'm trying not to... lol.

These cars have made their way to the wild.  Fusion Scale Hobbies has posted them on their FB page, and some are already sold out there (Ferromex for example)

I have 2 UCRY and 1 LRS/GATX on the way.  Might be a little on new side for me, but a little is OK right ?

Not too worried about them ring sold out there. Everything they have only had 2 pieces each available. I’ll wait till I can get more than 2 pieces from someplace like Lombard.

Awesome.   Otter Valley Trains in Ontario has a bunch in stock for CA$41.99, which is about $30 USD, depending on your exchange rate.   I just ordered way too many.

I also ordered too many of these cars from OVR.

A note for anyone in the US, Canada Post is on strike. So don't select any of those shipping options, as OVR was still offering that in the shipping dropdown when I ordered mine.

(now that said, UPS is horrendous for border shipping "extra fees", at least when shipping US to CA. I avoid them at all costs for cross border shipping)

That was me as well, by 3 years. I guess that FOMO got to me, but I only ordered a single "Normal" Lettering TBOX.
Attempting to model a modern Southern Pacific based in 2015/2016...

Also, I have a passenger train addiction...

Shipping was 10.95, or did I miss something big? Dunno how many of each roadname they received, but most are already sold out.

Got my 3 boxcars today from Fusion Scale Hobbies.  In very brief testing with other cars in the yard, they love coupling to McHenrys , do not like Accumate and 50/50 on microtrains couplers.  Coupling to themselves require a little bit of force,  or backing from a string of cars, as the couplers seem to click.  Definitely a different design than others out there.   Lots of detail and free rolling.  Body mount couplers and metal wheel sets

Those couplers seem to visually have some resemblance to the ProtoMate couplers DKS designed.

I'd say these new Aurora couplers are most like Accumates in terms of design. Automatic coupling takes a VERY high amount of force, even to themselves, but once coupled, they seem to stay reliably coupled in some very casual testing I've done. The top of coupler detail is on the thumb/retainer/lip shank, which is different.

But if these couplers are not to your liking, the coupler box is a separate part! So if you want to switch couplers, easily done. Sweet! MTL 1016's fit, although they do interfere a tad with the factory air hose/cut bar detail. My couplers fit too of course, in either the original box (I initially didn't think it was a complete separate part) using the universal retrofit version, but far better to use my "scalebox"... Easier and better results.

N-Possible coupler installed in Scalebox, with the factory airhose painted (they just come body color... )

I love the detail on these trucks.... Yes, those are pairing buttons! (the resolution shown doesn't do it justice really...)

These are nice cars, very comparable to the MTL NSC Plate F car.

Beware of tight bolsters, I had a few cars that have trouble with that. And just loosening the screw didn't solve it, I have to ever so slightly file out the truck. It seems maybe the screw was overtightened causing the bolster to slightly distort as best as I can tell.

And also very much undergauge wheelsets too... All my examples seem to have that issue.
