A few of the other items already listed, but chief on my list is the U33C, particularly in NP.

I've given up on new steam era freight cars being announced in plastic that will fill existing holes (i.e., not a 4th 65' mill gon) but if we are dreaming, I'd like:

1. 1923 ARA howe truss 8'6" IH boxcar, I know they had a million end/roof combos, but I'd be perfectly happy with a Murphy roof and 7/7 ends.
2. Steel 46' gondola, NYC had a ton of them.
3. MP panel side gondola, they had a lot, they were distinctive and they got around. I think SLSF had similar cars.
4. For GHQ to make the 53'6 AAR flat they did with DeLuxe Innovations a regular catalog item or for someone else to step up and do the 50 or 70 ton AAR flats in plastic.
5. A UTLX X-3 tank car (or really any common steam era tank car).

I’ve been working on filling in the gaps in my Canadian Pacific circa 1958 fleet, but I’m still hoping for:
1.   Era appropriate tank cars. Other than the MT tank single dome and triple dome, there aren’t very many options. I’m considering removing the two outer domes on the triple dome to approximate an 8000 gallon car. Canadian road names (including the ubiquitous Pierre’s Maple Syrup) would be nice.
2.   More CP ‘mini boxes’. Briggs did a nice kit, but I only have 2 and I’d like a few more.
3.   FM H16-44 (late CP type). Bachmann did one, and Briggs did a body kit decades ago, but nothing
available now. I’m about 2/3 the way through bashing a pair out of a pile of Atlas H15/16-44 and Trainmaster parts (to ‘reasonable approximation’ standard), so I’m a bit torn about this one. CP had a unique radiator arrangement, so unless Rapido wants to repeat their HO offering, a correct CP version is a real long shot.

@bbussey, I can help with the slab side hopper. This was one of my CP fleet projects a number of years ago and I created a resin kit for the riveted side version with either the 6 square/rectangular hatch or 8 round hatch options. I can resurrect this if you’re interested…

1) Styrene HOn3 kits for Type I and Type-II C&S/RGS boxcars and stock cars (the Leadville Design ones are the hardest kits I've ever built).
2) HOn3 single-window cupola short caboose (e.g., RGS 0409).
3) HOn3 D&RGS 6200-series flat cars.

I don't know if the Intermountain tank car fits your needs, but it was an 8000 gallon tank car- build dates in the 1920s, I think-

Of course, IMRC has cancelled the last couple of production runs, but they are available in the secondary market, in both RTR and kit versions.

I'd be in for a couple of the mini-boxes myself.

So much pent-up demand. 

Upon reflection, I am updating my list to add a modern cryo reefer, which bumps the covered hopper off the list to #6:

1. Any 3-unit articulated 53' rib-sided well car set, e.g. NSC/Walthers, Thrall/Atlas, or Trinity.  (JTC is an obvious candidate for the NSC.)
2. Greenbrier 60' hi-cube boxcar, double plug door with horizontal ribs, e.g. Atlas. (MTL, Atlas, Scale Trains?)
3. Gunderson 60' hi-cube boxcar, single plug door without horizontal ribs, e.g. Atlas. (MTL, Atlas, Scale Trains?)
4. TTRX 57' 3-unit spine set, e.g. Athearn.  (I'm not holding my breath for any company to take this up in N.)
5. Greenbrier cryo reefer, basically a modern version of the old Walthers cryo reefer.  Protoype AAR class A616.  No HO model that I know of.
6. Trinity 6351 4-bay hopper, e.g. Walthers. (IM, Scale Trains?)
