N Scale Architect ore dock pricing and pre-orders

These were discussed in the Amherst announcement thread, now pre-orders are up. $189.95 every 100’, or $854.95 for a mix-n-match 5-pack. Approach bridge adds another $39.95:

Important to add: pre-orders received before 11/1/23 receive “free item” credits of varying amounts. In the case of the 5-pack it’s $50.00.

Wow. That't not playing around, but you know what? Looking at what's in it and what goes into it, that's far from unreasonable.

I'm glad there isn't one on the Northern Central though!

When I figure what you can spend on buildings for 1000' of tall urban buildings, it isn;t unreasonable.  A couple of these kits and a staging yard, and there's a layout.  And you can probably get away with the 500' multi-kit, since there aren't a lot of models of 1000' ore boats available- a 500' ship is still pretty impressive (I mean, it's like any other dock- you need a boat to go with it).

The boat model might be more expensive than the dock components. Nice to see this for the ore industry modelers who want it, but my wallet is feeling very safe.
