We’re excited to announce we’ve acquired ExactRail. As you know, ExactRail is a top manufacturer of HO and N Scale freight cars and bridges. This addition nearly doubles our freight car offerings. For all of the details, visit our website at https://www.scaletrains.com/exactrail-acquisition.

This is awesome, love my Exactrail Waffle Side CWRS (need a CSX one or two though) and the F plate paper boxcars are crucial. I’m really excited to see Scaletrains producing these now!

Glad I stocked up when the website snafu hit.

As of 230pm est, nothing is showing on the N scale section of ExactRail website.  I snuck in an order this morning of 7 more 6275 in case the reading between the lines is true and they are folding into ST

Looks like I read that right afterall

Good maybe we can get some more stuff from the HO side of their catalog in N scale.  And maybe you can fix the horrible print job they did on the last run og Nscale F boxes that looks like a monkey applied it.

Congrats! As much as I generally abhor industry consolidation, I applaud anyone with the stones to run a model company.

I'm hoping this makes the whole hobby stronger.

Great news Shane! They had a lot of good rolling stock, but never seemed to do much with it. I hope that ST can jump in and produce many more paint schemes. There is so many models that they only ran once. It was a real shame.

There is a difference between industry consolidation and purchasing a company who keeps their assets locked in the closet..

It gives you an idea of how the 'Internet Only Direct to Consumer' business model worked out..
It turns out you can get black confetti in the shape of d'cks...

Please, when the dust settles, bring the 4780 covered hopper of theirs to N scale, especially those marked with some of those oddball grain coops!!! Thanks!

Excellent news!  My two biggest wishes related to this are:

1. Please retool the bulkhead flats with enough weight that they can stay on the rails when empty.

2. Please consider adding a Trinity TBOX to the line, to complement the ExactRail FBOX (and the fine MTL NSC TBOX).

Please consider acquiring Intermountain next.

Awesome!

How about considering the idea of bringing us (N Scale) some new 60' box car models that are not "vertically challenged"?

Would love to see the HO Greenville 7100 60' come to N scale:
