hoppers on stilts.

Hey,

I'm trying to find photos of grain hoppers elevated on concrete or I beams or what ever for storage or vehicle loading.  I found a nice one on concrete pillars but would like to get a few more examples.  I know here are ones that are part of feed and grain operation someplace and another with what look like a field of them in Texas?  you all know what I'm talking about.  I'm not having much luck on my own.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks a bunch.

Joe
Gozer the Traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor!

I probably have pictures of several of these, but I doubt I could remember what trips those were on.

This one was literally copied from the one we built in N.Fond du lac Wis. The one in Wisconsin was built from A GBW hopper.

I like that they didn’t even remove the couplers.   :D

When I lived near Montgomery Ala in the 1990s, the CSX years used an elevated hopper as a sand tower.
Not sure if I have a photo.

Hey, never know when you might want to use it for its original purpose again.

Joe, I think I know what you are talking about- it's a bunch of BN and ATSF ACF centerflow hoppers on metal I beam stilts? Its out in the panhandle/west Texas area but I'm coming up empty on my image search right now. Maybe near Slaton or Perryton TX?

Here's a Google Maps link. https://goo.gl/maps/HVJ6ddTGozZSxDy7A. Quite a wild sight.
