The only thing that wasn't private was that their mailing address is somewhere in Longyan, CN (China).

The site uses Cloudflare, so at least that's one direction they can go if @Rapidobill @rapidomike  or @rapidotrains wants to go to do some takedown stuff.

In the meantime, I'm gonna go get me six boxcars for $10/ea... lol.

Damn,I sent an order for N scale potassium chlorate cars already.  I know they weren't announced officially since the HO ones weren't released yet but thought I had a jump on everyone.

Note:  this too is a joke, I know it's fake, as is the n scale potassium chlorate cars.  Seriously rapido guys if you check on this thread, bring them to N scale so I can actually place an order

I wouldn't go to the site -- these places are often used to exploit un-patched computers to make them part of botnets

A computer that is has all the most recent security updates (aka 'patches') installed.

"most recent" is the operative phrase.   New security vulnerabilities are discovered fairly frequently.    Current operating system releases similarly get patched frequently, often automagically (Window 10 and and Windows 11 are in this category, Windows XP is not).   For those of us in the software business, keeping up to date on security vulnerabilities is a big deal and also a lot of work.

I almost thought this may have been an unauthorized "third shift" where someone sells overstock out the back door of the factory. I believe this happened with JTC and their containers a few years ago.

As others have pointed out, this address is used for other unrelated business and the engines are listed for far, far below the cost of production. So this is indeed just a scam.

Crazy to think something like this exists.
