ESM wheelsets .540" axle length out of stock until early-November

We've had a run on the wheels the past two months that was greater than planned.  Both the 33"/.540" and the 36"/.540" products are out of stock until early-November, arriving with the debut of the XIH Boxcar (HO) and the .33"/.553" and .36"/.553" wheelsets.

I have an order pending with a "major dealer", which is awaiting "something" from their supplier.  Since the order only had two items, a newly-released JTC container and your wheels, I suspected that it was your wheels, although that's never happened to me before. 

I can wait, I don't need them right now.  In fact, I might go ahead and order a few more, so they all arrive at the same time, to save on shipping.

I know the dealer of which you speak.  Their ample shipment is en route and should arrive late this week, so don't postpone your order with them.  Another dealer cleaned out the remaining stock here earlier today.

Normally we would air-freight a shipment in to maintain stock.  But the manufacturing lead-time plus transportation time while short is greater than the four-to-five weeks of ocean freight time, and everything above is hitting the water on Thursday.

Glad to see they are selling briskly! I will do my best to help you sell out of .553 when they hit the shops.

Sell through?  Yes, possibly.  Sell out?  That won't happen again.  Our money crunch goes away once the HO car hits the market, so it won't be difficult to always have stock on the wheels after this calendar year.

Gee, finally somebody makes a top quality wheel that fits MT trucks and didn't expect a huge run after years of nothing available? What kind of planning was that? Just pulling your chain a bit...

Well ... it's taken three years for the word to get out! 

 They've been on the market since September 2019.  The ASF trucks haven't caught on yet, but hopefully they will at some point.

I just today ordered a 96 pack (eight 12 packs) of 36" wheels from N scale supply. I use the 36" wheels for HOn30.

I'm approaching the point that my cars are going to be released from their boxes. At that point they'll need new wheels.

Is there a stockist of the wheels in the UK or anywhere else in Europe? The postage costs from the USA are a killer.
