new book about Rock Island's Choctaw Route

 :)  In May 2022 Trains magazine, Ron's Books ad showed a listing for Choctaw Route (Rock Island) History Through the Miles.  Portions of that line in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and New Mexico were a part of my earlier train watching life.  For only $36.75, with free shipping, I ordered it and it came today.  The 767 page book is printed in USA by TechScribes, Inc. of Alma AR.  The ISBN is 978-1-7327888-6-2. The copyright is 2021. Anyway, it will be a good read as well as another resource.  The author, Barton Jennings, is a railfan with actual railroad experience.  His writing flows well with history to present day state of this former Rock Island route.  If you are a Rock Island fan or like railroad history, this book is worth owning.
