Who still does custom painting in N scale? I can do a fair job but am looking for someone that can do a good GN BSB paint job on a bashed GP20. It's been a long time since I have had a source.

I'll second Jeff. I own four locomotives and a few UPP cars that he has painted and decaled. Also he painted a buddies set of NS F units.
Attempting to model a modern Southern Pacific based in 2015/2016...

Also, I have a passenger train addiction...

I assume these recommendations are still good? I don't have painting skills and I'm thinking about getting some G&W switchers painted up.

I ended up buying one of his Buckingham Branch GPs that he had up on FB. I don't have a need for it really but, wow, that opportunity wasn't going to come back around. I just got it Monday. Boy, is it beautiful.

There is a company called Emperor of the North. They have a site and phone number on Pinterest. I have not used them but have heard good things.

Send me a message over on FB about what you are looking to get painted up. Maybe we can work something out.

Thanks Adam, I enjoyed your project.

Jeff, appreciate the offer, I'm just in the exploratory stages of getting something done. Probably a couple G&W (various properties of theirs) end cab switchers. Nothing set in stone yet, just trying to get an idea of if there's painters out there who take on this kind of work, or if I need to attempt it.

Although I formerly had this custom painter on my "Resources For N and HO Scale Modelers" site page, he ceased operations some time ago.

I'm off next week, so I'm hoping to finish the SD35's I'm working on, I've only had the shells for a little over a year

Here's the MMID 2061 I did for myself.  I've since painted the trucks/tank etc black
