The 'final solution' was the Jordan spreader.  Yes, we took a Jordan spreader to clear used cars from the right of way.   Crunch.

Sheriff refused the property owners request to arrest the railroad employees for the damage.

Epic!

I had little to no time for modeling this weekend, but I did manage to paint a resin transformer casting and add it to the amazing Woodland Scenics' Built-Up N scale Substation. This substation will be serving the Kimberly Clark Plant in New Milford, on my layout. I still need to weather it a bit more, especially the cement pad, and add cables for the 2nd transformer, plus power in and out to the plant, chain link fencing and gravel around the concrete pad. This configuration comes very close to the prototype arrangement at the actual plant.  There is still lots of scenery, weathering and detail work yet to be done on this scene.

Not much lately worth showing. But did CAD up an H39B so my AZL SD45s have something to pull without breaking my wallet.

Clearly you have some CAD skills!  Any chance you can design one with operating doors?  The MT 100 ton hoppers' doors move but I can't open them without knocking over the cars.

What's the radius on the helix? It looks huge in the photo.

28.25 on the inner and close to 31 on the outer.

20 years ago now, our firm was reopening a line that hadn't seen freight traffic in about 15 years.  Multiple cases of right-of-way encroachment had to be dealt with, the most memorable of which was a used car lot that had managed to park vehicles right up to the tie edge of the main.   Letters were sent, ignored.   Representatives sent, ignored.   Tresspassing notices sent, ignored.

The 'final solution' was the Jordan spreader.  Yes, we took a Jordan spreader to clear used cars from the right of way.   Crunch.

Sheriff refused the property owners request to arrest the railroad employees for the damage.

That's amazing. No where near as epic, but this guy was a few inches away from me getting an action shot of a bumper getting torn off by the model M420W sledgehammer. :D

Zoinks!
Those are exactly what my SW1500 needs too.

If the printer behaves and I get a look at what needs to be changed initially I can let you have a look at the file.

Clearly you have some CAD skills!  Any chance you can design one with operating doors?  The MT 100 ton hoppers' doors move but I can't open them without knocking over the cars.

Think some of my details are pushing it beyond what could reasonably render in the print. Its one of those things that I don't think would be that hard but would either get damaged incredibly easily or look really off if ruggidized.

Have you "become your parents" yet?

Happy Birthday, either way.   :D

As some of you can attest, I should be so lucky.

Maybe it comes in a manual spray bottle (like Windex)?
