Had a real successful weekend of work on the layout. Base scenery down in Box Springs, CA. Turnout issue resolved from a few weeks ago. Moved it to another location and swapped it out and it's fine. WS static grass (not a fan) but it could be pilot error. Grounding arc too far away and not on the area.

Really nice work.

Is that super-elevated curve as steeply banked as it looks or is it just the photo ?

Thanks Eja. No it's on cork panel roadbed. Used sand for dirt and ballast. Need to do a lot more there.

Spent the weekend semi snowed in at the cabin.  Got to spend some quality time with my TTrak modules which now reside there on a semi permanent basis.

I didn't add anything, or even run the train back and forth for want of a 9v battery.  But it was still fun to see it.

Got home last night, and did a little work on the HCD layout...

I picked up some Chooch flexible wall, and started playing with it.
