Does MTL make a T shank coupler that isn't underslug?

I am trying to find a solution to a unique coupler mounting problem. I think I have it figured out, but the solution requires a T shank coupler that isn't underslug. Is there such a thing?

I recommend downloading the coupler conversion documentation PDF from the MTL site and reviewing all of the locomotive conversion pages. They may have one that will fill your need. Of note – the steam engine cow-catcher pilots utilize T-shank couplers, as did the original underframe for the 50000-series caboose.

All of those vintage conversion kits remain available, from MTL directly if not in the hobby stores.

My recollection is that some of the diesel conversions also had such a coupler (1104? maybe EDIT: nope, not that one) but I don't know if they have a coupler box or utilized the existing one with some sort of modification.

It would be helpful if MTL, in addition to the coupler conversion guide (which is indeed quite useful), would share a "reverse lookup directory" or online "coupler selector" where we could check boxes for underslung, not underslung (and are there any "overslung?), T-shank, length, etc., that would give us the product number for a particular configuration, as opposed to having to search through dozens of options, often with "hazy" descriptions.

I PMed you. I have a pile of old Kadee/MTL conversions. I think I found what you are looking for. The pics show the male part (with uncoupling pin) is not underslung. In this conversion the female part is much thicker though. This the conversion for the old Bachmann GP40. I have more to go through, but this may be it.

Unfortunately I think that the drawings show generic knuckles for the T-shanks and don't show the differences between the various ones.  (MT-4,MT-7, MT-8 etc.)  If I recall correctly from looking into this before, some of the shanks are underslung and some are not.
