Rough texture on printed passenger cars

Hi
many moons agos ( 5 years maybe ) I bought 2 clerestory roof passengers cars ( Dover Harbor ) .
I painted them a while ago and tried to decals them  , since I have to decals them letters by letters , it's really a pain and the texturing is really bugging me ....
I would like to know if there is a product I could use to smooth the sides of the cars , the roofs are very acceptable.
I know I will have to repaint the sides ...
Thanks
Thanks ,
Louis

depends on what they are made from .... some decal remover products can smooth surfaces if left on long enough ...
i know acetone will soften / smooth PLA filament or FDM, be careful how long you leave it on though, don't  ask how i know, lol

Hi,

I assume printed means resin/3D/printed.....
Try the Air Eraser method..... discussed on this forum serveral times before.
Cheap compressed air aluminum grit blasting.
Leaves a much smoother/cleaner surface....

Good luck!
