I'm interested to see if the new N-scale tooling is improved over the tooling it's replacing since ME's track detailing was getting pretty close to Atlas55 flex's large, blobby details.
It would be great if the new ME flex's N-scale Code55/Code40 spikehead/tieplate detailing is closer to the old Rail Craft flex's, which was the very best N-scale track ever made...even when the tooling was worn out and there was lots of flash to remove.
Frankly, although it will be great if, and when ME gets new N-scale turnouts in production, for me...since I've been building my own turnouts for over three decades...it isn't high on my priority list, but, usable Code40 flex (with much lower spikeheads) IS.
