DT Throttle 9V battery clips

One of my DT400 battery compartment spring clips broke off .. anyone have a spare or a linky to a compatible source  In the meantime, will try to manufacture one from brass

I decided this was too much of a pain in the  :ashat: so I opened the case, took both the clips out, as well as the tension clip on the other end of the battery compartment and cut in a standard 9V battery plug ..

My first instinct would have been to solder on a strip of phosphor bronze (not brass, because brass bends and isn't springy).
But I like your solution - easy, cheap, and if it ever breaks again, easily repairable.
