I’m sitting here in the tower at work brainstorming ideas for a project and what do I see but the CSX local come by. Look at the power, turns out Ed’s law strikes again. Train was three gondolas of granite from Elberton.

The train splits in 2 at Brockville, 62 going to Montreal and 52 going to Ottawa.

Shabbona, IL 10/7/21. Train S-CHCWEN1-04A (Chicago/Wenatchee) in the siding. Nice storm light today… and a ‘bonnet on the point. I had the reverser in my pocket, lest anyone worry about my positioning for the photo! This was our first stop of many today; the dispatcher would take full advantage of our short train length and give us a nice tour of some seldom-used sidings further down the road.
