Thanks - working on a review next, though I'm afraid it might not be as comprehensive as I'd like it to be.

Reason being is that I do not own either NCE or Digitrax throttles (I mostly built all of my DCC/LCC equipment, and I own a Roco Z21 Command Station).

Many people own NCE/Digitrax presently and would like to keep their existing throttles while benefitting from the new LCC standard.

We'll see what happens, I hate to set expectations high.

I'm also waiting for these to come out. I have a DCS51 that reboots if you knock the power wire the wrong way, and it has a few too many "quirks" with JMRI that I don't particularly like.

I trust TCS to get this right, so I'm less concerned about features or bugs, and more concerned about total cost. I'm hoping that TCS offers a package with the throttle and command station, but I'll probably buy both either way. I'm on a quest to get rid of JMRI, and this is just what I need.

I believe that while using LCC, one can have a system that does not require a central computer (always on etc)

Would still need some WiFi capable device with a web browser for management/configuration, but that could be anything: computer, tablet, phone, fridge, TV...

At the moment, the biggest issue we are all facing is any of these manufacturers not having chips/components for their products, which would introduce additional delays or up the costs.
