ESM wheelsets!

Wheels, wheels wheels!   Current plans are to expand the N scale line after the HO XIH Boxcar is released!  The first additional items will be the 33" and 36" wheels on .553" axles, for retrofitting all of your Atlas models!  We also are exploring the issue of 48-wheel bulk packs!  Stay tuned as things develop!

I have to say that, so far, all the ESM wheelsets I've installed have been absolutely perfect. Love them! No wobbles with any at all, which is something I can't say with at least two other brands I've tried, and they roll butter smooth. ESM wheelsets are now the adopted standard on my layout.

We close this month's issue with a thank you on the positive feedback and increased demand for our N scale low-profile metal wheels.  We have the .540" axle length in scale 33" (item #920100) and 36" (item #920200) wheel diameters.  We are planning to introduce a .553" axle length on both wheel diameters the next time we place a restock order with the contractor, which should be sometime this summer.  The .553" axle length in scale 33" (item #920101) and 36" (item #920201) wheel diameters will have the same MSRP as the current wheels.  All four items will continue to be available only as 12-packs for the foreseeable future, but 48-packs are on the planning board for when consumer demand warrants.

Yes, this have become my new go to wheel after I try them on the Rapido GP20.
I wonder if the .553 will fit the ST and ER cars were the .533 are a loose fit.

You can use a cheap a$$ Harbor Freight meter to test what side does not conduct.

I don't have a problem identifying the insulated side.  Just because the insulator bushing isn't half the face of the wheel doesn't mean you can't tell which wheel it is on. 

They are shipping with the HO cars.  Everything arriving together.

Have to completely agree. I have installed over 500 ESM wheel sets and not a problem with any of them. I was already moving on from FV when I had trouble with their tires coming off the insulator or having wobbles from the same issue direct from the factory. Then I discovered ESM and started buying them in bulk from my pusher.

If you want metal wheels that fit MT, ESM is your answer. Seriously.
