I've seen a few pictures of that WS utility wire so far and the thing I like least about it is that there doesn't appear to be any "hang" to it. It randomly goes up and down and all around like gravity doesn't exist.

I reiterate - I used these, on these particular T-TRAK modules to highlight the product to the viewing public. Illustrating that those, with less patience and modeling experience, can still replicate utility systems on their modules and model railroads.
   The close-up photos I posted exaggerate the twist in the thread, and, although it doesn’t appear as bulky in real life,  it’s definitely still there.
    Again, as i stated in my original post, it’s not for everyone, and is quite pricey, but I can certainly see the market for these, just as there’s a market for the WS built-up lighted structures.

At house for weekend. Wife said quit watching videos and just build it. So on weekends here, we are on. Just build the MF layout.

My weekend is mostly organizing, getting space made, shelves assembled, and tools sorted.  Got lots of Large-scale equipment to paint and-or modify once I’m organized.

Last week’s highlight was trying out these: a string of tank cars, 3 weathered and one still clean.

One can adjust how taut or loose it is, but either way it doesn't hang naturally. Personally, I think it looks like amateur hour.

RBB&B canvas truck #254. Deconstructed an Athearn Mack B dump truck for the cab, undercarriage and bogie. Cab steps and rear modified to better represent the prototype. 3D printed body parts. Kleenex tri-folded and rolled, cut to width with a razor blade and bound with curled .006” stainless steel wire for the canvas bundles. Stainless steel rod for the side cross bars. BLMA etched stirrups, ALM fuel tanks. The side mirror is an arts-and-crafts sequin mounted on stainless wire. Custom decals Alps-printed.

What about using fine piano wire for power lines? That way you can get different droops on the lines and be more realistic🤔
