I did a virtual layout tour for my local model railroad club.  I decided to do some of it from the engineer's cab.

The scenery is wonderful, especially the track bed and ballast.  Would love to see a track plan of the line.  The concept of the layout is one of my favorite "What If"s
Of course, it begs the question, if the South Penn is still a thing in 1967, where would all the cars go!

My Laurel Valley is set in the Conrail era, (usually!) so in my world, the Laurel Hill tunnel gets repurposed after the turnpike abandoned it to reconnect Somerset with Quemehoning, allowing my little shortline to provide some bridge line service between Latrobe and Rockwood Junction on the B&O via the WM's old trackage rights over the Johnstown Branch.

Really cool layout.  I enjoyed the tour!
