As requested on the Bachmann 0-6-0 thread, Keystone Details now offers Andrews tender trucks as a drop in replacement. Just clean paint and swap in the OEM electrical contacts and axles and off you go!

The trucks can be purchased here.

4 sets ordered.  Thanks for doing this!

By the way, the link from your website to shapeways doesn't work correctly for me.  I had to search Shapeways to find them ("keystone andrews" was enough).

@daniel_leavitt2000 , I'll add them to the queue so when I have a chance.  The type of truck that can be used depends on the size of the journal box.  the electrical pickup part has a relatively large bump on the back side that I have to provide a huge pocket for the bump so the pickup will sit flat against the back of the side frame.  This is crucial.

Also send me via email the best side view pic of the trucks, even if it is a hi-res pic of a brass model that I can zoom in on to clearly see all of the features of the truck.

Any chance you could print them yourself so that I don't have to deal with the whole Shapeways/Bestine palaver?

Here is a 3D rendition of a Fox truck Daniel (and I) could use on the B&M tenders.  It came from the B&M RR group on group.io site. The person who posted it also did the 3D drawing.  I suppose I could ask him if he would share his CAD file so you could modify it for electric pickups and N scale.

Model Power (MRC now) used those Archbar trucks on their 4-4-0 and 4-6-0 loco tenders.  Of course MTL makes those too (no electric pickup).

The MT trucks have coil springs, not leaf.

Although it shouldn't be too hard to graft leaf springs onto the MT trucks.

That is also true. Springs could even be made from stacked staggered layers of thin styrene.  But gluing them to the Delrin truck frame might nt work well.  Plus, no electric pickup, although the Model Power truck's pickup method rather crappy high-friction design.  MRC version is slightly better.  I wonder if MRC has those trucks available as spare parts?

I second the Commonwealth truck request, as the New York Central used these under quite a few tenders.

Is the Commonwealth truck the drop-equalizer version?  If so, Bachmann already makes that.  It's on the USRA light mountain, and is a direct substitute.  It's available in their parts store - look for the light mountain with sound parts.
