A Keystone Details customer asked me this question and since I have never really done one, I look to you Railwire

I use CA gel, carefully rolled onto the seam surface with a toothpick for a permanent connection when constructing a styrene enclosure around the speaker.
On pre-made enclosures I carefully roll on some caulk onto the seam surface before pressing on the speaker.
You can use liquid tape instead of caulk.
The trick is not to gum up the speaker with any fixative squeeze out.

I use 560 Canopy Glue most times, also use Tub and Tile caulk, water based. The Tub and Tile caulk will let you remove the speaker at a later date if you ever need to, The Glue does not eat into the plastic and will peal off like tape.

I have been using Bondic to seal the speaker to KD enclosures. Fills all the gaps nicely, holds the speaker in place, and is easily removed if there is a problem

I use Gallery Glass available at Michael’s and Hobby Lobby. It’s similar to Micro Krystal Kleer.
Water based and a bit thinner than white glue. It adheres well and stays flexible when dry.
