While hanging out at Westminster Junction Saturday, we saw a TC&W transfer begin to head west. Knowing that it was heading up the Short Line, we gave chase. I was driving so no photographs of the (smoky) assault up grade at the start of the Short Line. It didn't move fast with it's load of limestone but we knew we had only a few chances to cut it off.

First stop was along the Short Line, near Ben(ny) Hill Road and Victoria Street.

We passed under the train at Snelling and Marshall, but knowing it would have to slow for Transfer Yard would buy us time.

Second stop was the Raymond Bridge over the Transfer Yard:

Heading toward points west:

The Commercial was busy in the yard as well.

Not bad for the first railfanning since the pandemic started.
