Glad to see that freight engineer was on his toes and in Notch 8 in reverse. Appears that made the difference and avoided an actual impact. However, I'm sure no one's underwear was clean after that incident.
I actually saw this video not too long ago, but I don't remember if it was YouTube or FaceBook. Wherever it was, the comments were roasting the passenger engineer for not staying with the train. Like it would have done any good to ride it out. Once it was in emergency, he was just along for the ride and would have been the one most seriously injured. If I remember correctly, it was the passenger train engineer's fault, and he probably lost his job that day.
