Here are BNSF Alliance Locomotive shop in Nebraska and its N scale model fabricated by a friend of mine, Yaga-chan.

He scratch built it w/ various materials for architect modeling plus “lunch box?”
No, the clear case is very cheap item sold in “One dollar shop” being very popular in Japanese life.

He posted this article on the Face Book 3 months ago, and his companions/friends appreciated it so much.  Now I would like to introduce it to US modelers.

That's an awesome concept for a display-case/diorama. Tell your friend they did excellent work! Make me really want to try something like that.
