In my car repair experience I have never seen vacuum houses that small. That would be usable in N scale for "normal' size tires.

1. I don't have one (although I keep looking for an excuse to pick one up).

A table saw is not a meat slicer. It would make minced-vinyl instead of N scale tires.

Sure, it will cut meat, but I wouldn't want to do the cleanup afterwards.     And if you can cleanly cut roughly 1/8" diameter vinyl wire insulation to the width of an N scale tire, you are much better man than I am.
