He's added some buddies to the stable since then. This custom loco was the inspiration for my handle here. Who knew Atlas would later do this exact number as an offering, as well as 3001 and 373? Both of which I bought factory. I also had a 3002 made up on a donor WP GP40 dummy chassis.

That was a fun day. I had spent the first half fishing out of Tilghman that morning. I then tried to find that little hobby shop in East New Market before creeping over to Cambridge. That was also before I moved to the Eastern Shore and before my MDDE days.

Who knew this one would end up being a reference photo many years later?



I think @John owns this lumber facility now, right? Well here it was being switched in early Conrail years, WAY before CSX took it over.



Did this end up with @seusscaboose or @eric220 ?



I got photos of the WM too.





I should've photoshopped the wood out of this one, but I still really like this shot.



And look at 6366 here. She's so young and clean!



Definitely had lots of fun times on that layout.

One of my favorite visits was from @randgust who brought one of his diminutive logging locomotives to tinker with.  @RockGp40 showed up for that one, too.  I didn't realize it at the time, but apparently he would just live under the layout and come out whenever company stopped by.



And that time everyone showed up but Ed...

My turn. Lee's barely-visible avatar is actually this image, taken while I was shooting his N Scale magazine cover shot.







Shooting Lee for his "N Scale Approach" column.



There was the golden spike tour... mine is bringing up the rear (naturally).



Then I also attended an ops session at Lee's.







That was a great day, except... I'd just had knee surgery, and I was in excruciating pain the whole time. You can see me leaning on a cane and grinning through the pain as best I could. I still wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Is that track plan on your website? I could adapt that to the space I'll have once my house is finished inside and out. No trains inside until outside is done says the wife.
