Does anyone out there have a top photograph or top drawing of a passenger equipped FM H-15-16-44. I have found service photographs of them on the CRI&P, LIRR and CNJ, but none of them have too good a view of the top. I am aware that the steam generator went into the short hood.
I know what they looked like on SP Trainmasters. They really were more like screens. There were actually short "stacks" that SP had for the things, and, apparently they were removable, although SP simply stopped using them after a time. I do not know if any other Trainmaster user had them equipped for passenger work.
