The Nickel Plate Road Historical and Technical Society is pleased to announce the immediate availability of a new brick interlocking tower kit based on the NKP prototype at Painesville, OH, in N, HO and O scales.  The photos below are of the assembled/painted HO kit:

Although the tower is based on an NKP prototype, it is typical of brick towers found throughout the Midwest and East.

This is a laser-cut kit with and comes with all the details shown in the photos.  Pricing (does not include shipping):
N - $37.95
HO - $49.95
O - $64.95

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

John C.- As I said about the recent NKP mail-baggage car, I think the NKPHTS is doing a great service for modelers in the group by providing road specific models- and this one in a variety of scales.  Hope this project is very successful for you and that other historical societies follow your example.

Thanks!

We have more stuff on the way - including a painted/unlettered MT single-window coach that we will be selling with custom decals for the NKP 60 and 90-series cars (which lasted until 1960); a small-town (Class 3) depot in multiple scales; and (I hope) an expanded range of decals for both passenger and freight equipment.

I hope the tower kit sells well; this is our first big jump into structure kits.  It's a bit of work to assemble and paint, but it really looks terrific.

The tower really looks nice and should be fun to put together. I just ordered on in N-Scale for our club's portable layout. I hope it is successful for the group.

The H0 version looks great. I hope that the brick detail and the way the kit is designed (bricks go all the way to the edges of the corners) are also in the N scale version.
