I purchased this around 1984. I think it is Tyco but I can't be sure. The main post is plastic and the light platforms and lights are metal, very bright too. I'd love to find two more but haven't seen any in years. Can anyone confirm what brand it is.  Overall it's height is 7". It once had a bast that made it approx 1/8" taller.

I'd cut the head off of that and build something closer to scale using LEDs.
But that's just me.
I remember them, too.  I think they were marketed at various times by Life Like, Bachmann, and maybe Model Power.

I think that rung a bell, I believe it was a Life Like brand.  I was planing on doing just that, chop the top of and starting over. The main structure is good.
