The New South Wales outer suburban double deck EMUs are the best riding rolling stock in Australia. With new (imported) double deckers now starting to arrive, the legendary V sets will likely all be gone within the next two years. At Koolewong station V36 arrives with 1420hrs service from Newcastle Interchange to Sydney central. Within 60 seconds, I was on the train with my luggage heading to Sydney and thence back home to Adelaide - 15 Jan 2020.
